New Kid on the Block

Today a “swarm and stare” was held in my honour, since I’m switching departments at my company. The boss brought in a chocolate cake, and I got a card, all special-like. I hope I like the new situation. My new desk isn’t as nice as the one I’ll be occupying until the close of business today (1 p.m. for us), but it’s going to be okay, I think. The drawback is that I’m a giggler and the new neighbours seem pretty straight. Also going to check out the new apartment again. Today is a day full of change. But in a good way…
