Deja Vu?

Do any of you ship people ever find that the universe is trying to remind you of the whole experience once in awhile? It’s been brought to my attention in subtle but strange and wonderful ways lately.

Meeting saxman, the saxaphone player guy from Celebrity. (He replied to my e-mail, by the way…)
The DCL t-shirt on that man at the gallery opening.
The show on TLC the other night about living and working on a ship. Okay, I didn’t actually see it, but a friend mentioned it to me the other day.
Brian has a photo of the very ship the saxaphone guy is aboard on the photo gallery. Have you been on that ship, Brian?
Yesterday I was sitting in front of the fan in my room and got antsy, so I pulled this box off of a shelf in my room to see what was in it. I expected just photo negatives, but instead I found a stack of postcards from Key West and the Wonder. Also a swizzle stick bought at Margaritaville (I had just written to saxman about that place, told him he absolutely had to go there, my DCL nametags and the DCL pen that was given to the crew at Christmas.

I go through these little stints once in awhile. I guess the real question is, “What does all of this mean?” Am I supposed to be paying attention to all of these little things? Are they coincidences, or am I being directed somehow? I’ve never been a real believer in “fate” really, but I do believe that everything happens for a reason. What do you think?
