Rediscovery

I went to this place called the library on Saturday afternoon: library: a place in which literary, musical, artistic, or reference materials (as books, manuscripts, recordings, or films) are kept for use but not for sale (Merriam-Webster Dictionary).

Did you know there is a place where you can go and borrow books for free? In a world where precious little is free, this is unbelievable to me. I’m so happy I’ve rediscovered the library. We used to go all the time when we were kids. Of course, I used the library at university, but not for fun. Not to read stuff I wanted to read. And, it’s right around the corner from my house. I picked up William S. Burroughs’ Naked Lunch and Douglas Coupland’s Microserfs. Reviews forthcoming.
