Brrrrr!

Well I thought I should make a brief appearance, although not too much is really new here in Toronto. Last night we had this winter’s first “cold alert”. In an effort to get the homeless off the streets and into shelters the city declares this warning several times a year. Yesterday the low reached -15°C (4°F). This morning on my way to work I noticed a hazy fog across the lake. I think that means that the air was colder than the water in the lake! Saxman’s been working really hard lately. He had a theatre gig that involved a lot of reading music for all three of his instruments. He was practicing a lot and I didn’t see much of him last week. I had new appreciation for Leah and her rock star bf. You crossed my mind several times last week, sister! Tonight I think I am going to put up my Christmas tree. I put lights up on the weekend around the big front window of the house. Starting to feel festive. I really should start my shopping soon, though… Just a little over two weeks and it’s vacation time! I’ve got two whole weeks away from corporate-land here. Woo-hoo!
