Tamara and I have settled on our arrangement for the next year. I am so glad that something has been made stable in my life! My wishlist/plans in line for the apartment are:
Get rid of the invading ants.
Paint the bathroom. It is a wall of dingy white. I think a nice mossy green would be nice.
Paint my bedroom.
Make the back garden beautiful for summertime, i.e. bbq’s, reading, tanning, drinking, etc.
Tidy up garage, including installing shelves loaned/given by the ex-bf.
Take back some basement storage territory (the people who live upstairs, Tamara’s sister and her husband, have totally monopolized all of the storage space since we moved in).
Fix shelf in lower kitchen cabinet.
New blinds (bamboo?) for the front picture window and French door.
Throw down some grass seed in the patchy areas of the front lawn.
Paint front door (it’s currently a horrific shade of turquoise…I think it’s safe to say there was a sale on paint that day).
It seems like a long list, but if I had my way and could afford it there are all kinds of things I would like to do here!
