Winter? Ugh!

It started snowing here in Toronto on Sunday night and it still hasn’t stopped. This has been quite a storm. I went out for a bit yesterday via the TTC (not driving around in this weather!) and most of the streets were pretty bare. I remember it snowing like this when I was a kid. One year my dad helped us build a fort with big walls in the back yard. Another year we had an ice storm and then it snowed like 8″ on top of the ice. Dad dug out the snow in a couple of hilly places in our yard and we had slides in the backyard! If only winter meant fun times for grown-ups, too.
