Career Orientation

The NHL and NBA seasons will be ending soon, and it’s time for me to consider my options. I could: a) Wait tables or tend bar this summer, b) Try to find a brand-new permanent job, or c) Stage a comeback at my old company. I think I’ll be opting for (c). I’ve already e-mailed my old boss and although he is away from work this week, I have received a response from someone else resulting in some freelance work for the time being. My foot is definitely back in the door. With careful timing I will be back to the 9-5, M-F lifestyle sometime in April while phasing out of the ACC as hockey and basketball end. Then in the fall I will return to the arena part-time, working one or two events per week!
