Queen of Pop?

Madonna just finished three shows at the Air Canada Centre. She is a true D-I-V-A…swearing onstage during her sound-check, not allowing anyone not part of her crew to see her during the sound-check, not allowing the ushering staff to check their sections until she had left for her dressing room. She came on stage 45 minutes late each night and there was no intermission and no encore. Naturally the crowd ate her up, so to speak. What little of the show I managed to catch was an over-the-top assault on the senses. Very loud, very bright (look at all the pretty colours!), very, well….cool, actually. Concert-goers got their money’s worth. But for the record, I wouldn’t pay $300 for any concert ticket.
