Today was pretty productive, for a personal day.
I taped off and painted one coat of primer in the room upstairs. (I took pictures of the “garden theme” detail painted by the previous owner before covering it up.) I did two loads of laundry. I shoveled the driveway. And all the while I was making pork chops in the crock pot!
I got the crock pot a few years ago for Christmas, but I feel like it’s new again, like I’ve just discovered it. All I had really made in it was spaghetti sauce and chili up until recently. Graham likes it a lot, too. He made some chicken in it last week. Food cooked in it is really good, and requires minimal effort.
