Miracle Club

Today I joined the “Miracle Club”. That means I’ll donate $15/month to the Hospital for Sick Children. It’ll just automatically be charged to my credit card, and I’ll be issued a tax receipt. I have lots of friends and family members who are having children now (hello all my little friends: Kiely, Jacelyn, Gregory, Kassandra, Caleb, Will, Jasmine, Saffron, Rielly, Cole B., Riley, Cole D., baby Piatti (arriving in July), Katerina), and I think it’s an awesome cause.

      Aww, Amy, that’s awesome news! I’m so proud of you! As I was driving to my interview at Sick Kids this morning, I was listening to the radio marathon, and it made me want to work at Sick Kids all the more!

      I’m such a sap…tears came to my eyes as I listened this morning on Mix 99.9. They had that Train song, “Calling All Angels” and some kids talking in between verses of the song. I was proud to be part of it already, in my own small way.
