I went yesterday to the King Street Cat Hospital nearby that often has kittens available for adoption. Matt’s girlfriend Karlie’s sister works there and said it was a good place to go. She was right. The woman who was working at this clinic (it was very cool…in an old house, these people are obviously crazy about cats) brought three kittens out for me to touch, play with, hug and feel. I really don’t know how I chose one of them, but I decided on one grey, fluffy boy with a little white spot under his chin. He had just had his face in his food dish and was all wet. He looked sort of pathetic but in an adorable way, and he had a really nice little personality.
He’ll be coming home to live with us on June 6. He’ll come complete with a feline leukemia test, first shots, dewormed and we can take him back when he’s old enough to be micro-chipped. We think we’ll name him Woody (after Woody Allen). Maybe we’ll call him Alvy instead (if you’ve seen Annie Hall you’ll know why). I should have brought my camera to take his picture but I didn’t know for sure I’d be stopping in at the clinic so I didn’t have it with me. Maybe I’ll go back before June 6 to take his picture.

Congratulations! I can’t wait to meet him!! PS: I tagged you on my blog to do a lame little game.
