Something concrete has taken place in the planning of the wedding. I know that we’ve only been engaged for 8 days (!), but it feels like it’s been a lot longer than that, since we’ve been talking about getting married for several months.
We have tentatively booked a venue for the ceremony and reception, but it shall remain nameless at this point…we’re going to hide in the bushes and watch another couple be wed this Saturday so we can check it out. We have 10 days to confirm.
Also, Mom and I were at Pier 1 last night so I could show her the things Graham and I selected for our registry. She pretended she was going to buy something and got a printout, so now I have a copy to see what the guest(s) would see. It was really fun because the store clerk of course had no idea I was the bride listed on the registry print-out. It was a very “bridey” moment when she looked us up in the computer and loudly asked, “Is it Amy & Graham?”
