I’ve been making a lot of the wedding stuff myself. Invitations, favours, other stationery.
Wedding detail spoiler alert! Not too many of our guests read my blog, so I think they’ll keep it quiet if they read any details here (hint, hint!).
My favours are this: little terra cotta pots, with a tea light inside, and a matchbook, all wrapped in shiny cellophane and tied with garden twine. I glued some pretty, colour-coordinated ribbon around the rim. The matchbooks are wrapped with pretty paper and stamped with an ornate letter “U”. I think they look pretty good. I should be able to finish them up either this week or next week because I picked up the rest of the supplies yesterday.
Next up, printing and assembling of invitations. I brought the envelopes and invite list over to Mom’s on the weekend since she’s going to be addressing them. She said she thinks she’ll really enjoy doing that. I’m glad she feels included.
Our wedding bands should be ready to pick up by Friday. They’re being resized to fit. I also have to get the alterations on my dress started. Soon!
