I guess it’s time to revitalize some wedding plans. We’ve been in a wedding lull for awhile now. I’m starting to feel like if I’m not doing something wedding-related, I’ll have too much left to do the week or two before the “big event”.
Heather let me know yesterday that she and her friend Rita are going to have a mani-pedi-massage day for me & my girls the day before the wedding. Everything else will have to be worked in around that! I sure hope I don’t feel spread too thin.
A shower is being planned for me by mom, Heather & Vicki. They’re keeping the details close, but they realize I don’t want a surprise event. I’m glad they understand! I really don’t think surprise parties are for the recipient of the surprise at all. It’s for the people who are planning it. These three women love me, and how wonderful is that?
I e-mailed Barb at Perfect Little Moments catering to see when I should start think about finalizing the menu. I also e-mailed our cake baker but the e-mail kept bouncing back. I guess I’ll have to get in touch the old fashioned way and pick up the phone!
