I’ve been meaning to credit all of the talented and helpful people we hired to help put our wedding together. Here’s the list of credits:
Barb at Perfect Little Moments and Perfect Little Moments Buffet Catering. The food was incredible. These people were up at 6 am, at our hall by 7, and worked continuously until the midnight. Barb drove between locations to help co-ordinate our wedding ceremony and did everything with a professional attitude and a smile on her face.
Wayne, our photographer at Archangel Photography, was awesome. He came to our rehearsal the night before to familiarize himself with the locale. He went to three locations on the wedding day, and had mapped out all kinds of good spots for photos the night before. Very personable and friendly and prepared.
Colette made our amazing wedding cake that looked like a flower pot. Our guests actually thought it was a flower pot. She also made a very tasty (I’m told) slab cake to serve the guests, all for a great price.
Our flowers were done by Anna at Sobey’s in Whitby. They were very attentive to detail and extremely organized and professional. And the flowers were gorgeous!
Zahra at Classic Alterations altered my wedding dress perfectly. She’s in Cedarbrea Mall in Scarborough. If you e-mail me I can send you her number.
Angela of Gloss did all our hair and makeup and she was wonderful, too. She drove from Etobicoke out to our house in Oshawa.
We got our wine and beer done at Still Brewing in Oshawa. They’re listed in the Yellow Pages.
Our wedding officiant was Kerry Armstrong from All Seasons Weddings. She was professional, but personal, and very attentive to detail as well. She performed our ceremony perfectly, was on time, and she really seemed to know what she was doing.
We’d recommend all of these people to anyone in the area planning a wedding.
