Yesterday I wore a hard hat for the first time as I got a look inside the new arena where I’ll be working. It’s still pretty rough inside, but it’s coming together. It’s easy to visualize how it will all look when it is complete. We’re supposed to be able to go in without hard hats or steel toes on Wednesday.
The first week is going to be unbelievably hectic. Our opening night is Friday, November 3. On the 1st & 2nd I’ll be having staff in to help me stock the suites pantry, bar and the suites themselves. So now I’m busy making lists of everything needed in all three of these locations.
I bought three suits at Fairweather last week. They had a great sale on. With the purchase of the blazer, you get the bottoms free. So three suits cost me under $300. I’ll be wearing these on event nights.
