Got together with one of my best friends last night, Tamara. She and her spouse Carys are having a baby in June. She asked me to be their new son’s godmother! She said that she loves our friendship and conversations and would like their son to consider me as someone he can come to. I’m so honoured, because I really value my friendship with Tamara. I think we bring out the best in each other.
I did ask her if it was what she wanted, even though I’m not a “God person”. She was okay with that. Basically they just think I’ll be a positive influence in his life. Can’t wait to be this little guy’s Auntie Amy!
