I must admit, after quitting the arena, it was a little scary not knowing exactly where my next paycheque would come from. With Graham on my side, I knew things would be okay, but it’s always been very important to me to earn my “own” money, since I’ve been working ever since I was 15 years old.
I was offered as much freelance editorial work I want, basically, this week. This is very good news. I can control how much I work, and do so from home. And be sure that I’ll be paid what is agreed upon up front. This will still leave me time to help Graham with the cable business as well as pursue other interests.
Big sighs of relief all around.
