Menu, Week #5

Week #4 is great so far, except that we changed around the nights for some of the dishes, since we ended up swapping Thursday and Saturday around. And I haven’t made a loaf of no-knead like I’d planned. The beef dip was my favourite dish this week.

For this coming week:

Monday: Indian Curry with Chicken (crock pot school night, from the Better Homes & Gardens crock pot cookbook)

Tuesday: I’ll be out for dinner with Mom & Nancy (Happy 30th to me!) so I’m sure Graham will find something in the freezer or leftover from the weekend for supper.

Wednesday: Meat Loaf and Baked Mashed Potatoes. I love meat loaf. This recipe looks easy, and I think it’ll be nice to make a meat loaf without using a baking tin to shape it.

Thursday: Southwestern Chicken Wraps. I hope I can find a ripe avocado this week.

Friday: Reuben sandwiches. Our favourite from the local Oshawa eatery, Teddy’s. No recipe to follow, I’ll just try to mimick Teddy’s classic.
