I have completely lost interest in eating canned soup. I just finished making a batch of tomato soup, and used up some of the preserved tomatoes I had in the cupboard from last year’s garden. It’s so tasty, so much better than anything that’s been sitting in a stew of preservatives for “god-knows” how long.

Whoever decided that tomato soup should be pureed into a thin, watery consistency is crazy. This soup has chunks of tomatoes that I GREW in it. It’s good for me and is great tasting and fresh. It’s so easy to make. I’ll never buy canned soup again.
