Finally, a photo of me that I don’t hate! I like it because you can see what’s going on in the kitchen (wine cooler near the sink, recipe hung by magnets over the stove, a fantastic idea of Graham’s, scented geraniums rooting on the windowsill). I hate posed photos of people. Sometimes your “best side” is seen only when you aren’t looking at the camera. I’m making the risotto in this photo, which requires basically half an hour of constant stirring. It was well worth it!
