The only thing missing is, apparently, the kitchen sink.

I’ve become one of “those people” who do everything besides actually eat at their dining room table. Currently on our dining room table is:

  • a set of proofs I just finished working with that is going to the typesetter tomorrow
  • our Fiskars paper cutter Graham used to cut his driveway sealing flyers this afternoon
  • a very sad looking baby tears plant (I wish Mom would just take this one out of here, because it’s being neglected in “the plant hospital” by this very surly nurse)
  • a flyer for Mark’s Work Wearhouse
  • the Canadian Tire spring catalogue (covet, covet)
  • a distribution list for the driveway sealing business
  • a fax all ready to be sent to the Ministry of Finance HR department tomorrow
  • the official scorecard for the CBC Test the Nation: IQ I’m missing right now
  • the recipe for no-knead bread I sent Kolleen
  • my laptop, of course.

Well, at least you have a dining room table. Currently my kitchen table is in the Garage under a mountain of Derek’s tools. In it’s place is the boys hockey table they got for Xmas…I don’t forsee in my near future getting my table back. :(

It could be worse…it could be a ping pong table in your kitchen…
