There’s a good possibility that I’ll be attending (drumroll…) THE BLOGHER CONFERENCE IN CHICAGO THIS JULY. The tentative plan is for Gayla and I to drive down together, probably on the Thursday, check into our hotel, recover from the 8- to 9-hour drive, and then attend the conference on Friday and Saturday, returning home on Sunday or Monday. We have yet to finalize the details.
Maybe this sounds like a whole lot of boring geekery to you, my three or four readers, but there are cocktail parties planned! At the Navy Pier. With lots of free wi-fi all over the place. And lots of other women who write inane sentences just like this one every day in Cyberspace…or am I supposed to call it the Blogosphere now? Whatever…this is a real, live road trip to a city I haven’t been to before with one of my favourite people, which means YAY.
