I’ve been back working at home for about a week and a half now. There’s a lot of stuff I still want to do in there to make it a bit nicer, a bit more “me”, like get a bamboo blind to cover the books and printer and stuff in the closet, hang some artwork and install a hammock. I thought you might enjoy a tour of my home office as it looked this morning. I didn’t move anything around, except for a post-it note that revealed someone’s home address.
The uniform is very relaxed.
A window! I can open it and breath real, non-canned-office air.
I wish IT could come over and make this pretty.
Lawyerly-looking books that I edit. They are heavy.
My to-do list and day book, opened to six days ago. Empty coffee mug. (Emergency!) Artwork that needs to be hung. I got that print and the frame at a fancy garage sale last summer.
Stuff I need to mail, including the last few of the infamous thank you notes. Stack of proofs.

Yes, there are TWO computers in my home office, because I have addictions.
