Okay, what? Am I the only one who didn’t know about this huge concert event on July 7? And—nerd alert—I had to find out about it from Al Gore’s website? I really must be overly dependent on the PVR for my television viewing needs…I haven’t seen a commercial or movie preview in months.
I wonder why there isn’t a Canadian venue for this Live Earth concert event? We got all into it for Live 8 and Popefest…why not for Live Earth? Oh, maybe it’s because Canada is already part of Kyoto and good with the green living stuff. Well, better than China and Japan, evidently.

Likely all of the performances I’ll want to see will be on simultaneously. Or, like morons, CBC coverage will cut away from one of the performances I want to see just in time for Madonna or UB40 or some other act I don’t give a crap about.
