From the Yahoo! Internet Cafe: Beware the mush.

Driving into Chicago yesterday was one of the most memorable travel experiences I believe I’ve had. I’ve been to a few cool places. It was pretty amazing the first time I saw and boarded the Disney Wonder in Port Canaveral. Yesterday, though, as I turned onto Dearborn Street, I was completely and unexpectedly overwhelmed. As the unique Chicago buildings towered above, I literally had goose bumps. I was so flushed with excitement, so filled with emotion, so proud that I had driven all that way. So grateful that I have a husband who trusts me and loves me so much he agrees that I can make the trip by car in the first place. All of these feelings formed a real lump in my throat and tears sprang into my eyes. Those first five minutes in Chicago were so overwhelming and intense and thrilling and I’m so appreciative of the opportunity I have to see it all.
