I’d really love to write a thoughtful, warm and funny post about BlogHer but in true Assertagirl style, I’ve managed to leave my laptop’s power cord behind in Chicago. You know, just a little something for them to remember me by. And of course all of my blog passwords and e-mail and everything are on this computer so I may be conspicuously quiet for a few days. Maybe this is a good thing…meant to be, so I can buckle down and get lots of editing done this week until I get a new adapter.

I’m trying to think of a witty “you left your cord in Chicago” joke, but three nights and two days of blogher fun have caught up with me and my brain is the size of a pea. I will have much fun trolling through your archives while you find an adapter.
Super Crap!
I hate when I leave something behind. I had this great old canon powershot G3 that I loved – obscenely so – and I left the batter charger at the freakin’ airport!! They don’t make them any more!! I was devastated…
Good think I have a new camera to fondle.
Also, good luck on the cord – if you stayed at The W it is most likely lost for-ev-er because the snarky staff there can’t be bothered to look.

don’t feel too badly about the power cord, I managed to delete part of my hard drive during Blogher and lost all my passwords and lots of other junk I can’t remember!
