Thankful for my health.

Today is Canadian Thanksgiving. No big turkey dinner this year, which ironically, I am thankful for. You know what else I am thankful for? My health. It sounds like a cliché but it’s true.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I know this because Jana at Something Baby Blue and Sam of Temporarily Me have gone pink this month.

I went recently for my annual physical, and because I have a good doctor, I also had a breast exam that day. I am lump-free! This is always a good thing. If it’s going to be awhile until your next doctor’s appointment, or you just need an excuse to get busy with yourself, follow the instructions below to check for lumps in your breasts. You’ll be glad you did.

Happy Thanksgiving.

(P.S. I have a new post up at my gardening blog today, Playing in the Dirt: The harvest continues.)

Bossy never could figure out how to examine herself — it all feels lumpy and bumpy. Happy Thanksgiving.

Had my poor little boobies squished flat a couple of weeks ago. They’re good for another year.

    Bossy,

I think some breast are more “fibrous” than others. Mine are all lumpy and bumpy too – when examining them. You just gotta get to know the regular little lumps and bumps so that when a new one joins the group you can introduce yourself real personal like.
