I had a post all created in my mind about yesterday’s experience working as a poll clerk in our provincial election. It was a good experience, overall, and an eye-opening one at times. I just don’t have it in me right now to write it all out.
I didn’t want to let today go by, however, without writing some sort of post, because I’m gearing up for NaBloPoMo. For those of you who don’t know what the h-e-double hockey sticks NaBloPoMo is, I’ll tell you. (Couldn’t resist tucking a hockey reference in there.) It’s short for National Blog Posting Month, the “national” part referring of course to our friends in America. However, you don’t have to be American to participate. All you have to do is write a blog post every day in the month of November, without cheating and using the post-dating method that I used just yesterday, in fact. To join, simply click on the image below featuring a cat doing some weird LOL thing that I still don’t really “get”. (Could someone please explain to me what LOLcats are all about?)
In other blog pushiness, two of my friends in particular always have wonderful, funny stories to tell and I know you’d love them. For instance, a friggin’ MOOSE ran across Koll’s street a few weeks ago. No, she doesn’t live in the woods in Northern Ontario. And Tamara works with a man who recently was made a Member of the Order of Canada. So I’ll take this opportunity to tell Kolleen and Tamara that they should just friggin’ start a blog already! It’s way easy. And for anyone else who reads this site who doesn’t have a blog of her very own to love and cuddle and labour over into the wee hours of the morn, I urge you to give it a try. WordPress and Blogger are two very easy and popular sites that are user-friendly and free. If you start one up, leave your URL in the comments section and I’ll add you to my Blogroll.

Ummmm, nah. Bossy doesn’t need any more tasks she can’t complete.
I signed up for the first time! I’ll see you there.

Using My Words
I did it last year and found it a challenge. Who knows what craziness possessed me to sign up again?
Do you think I could really do this?
Oy, who knows.
