This week I am grateful for…
…caring friends who reach out, unsolicited, in times of trial.
…cheap books so I can keep reading new stuff even when we are short on cash.
…7-11′s Pumpkin Spice Latte. (I know, it’s not really latte and is chock-full of sugar…shhhh.)
…the space to grow food and the abundance my garden has shown this year.
…the ability to see beauty in nature and to be able to capture some of it for sharing.
…the cheque that arrived yesterday, paying me for the work I did on election day, and the bonus fact that it wasn’t taxed. Let me repeat that: The government sent me a cheque and didn’t tax it! Did. Not. Tax. It. Woo!
