Had a decent weekend. Moved the bars in our closet so our stuff fits better. Played a little Texas Hold ‘em with Graham, so now I know the difference between “call” and “check”. (I won.) Stressed about our soon-to-be-remedied credit situation. Broke my new year’s resolution not to eat fast food last night when we were both starving, had very little food in the house, and Graham said he was going to eat a Whopper.
Then I paid for it by having really weird dreams about being in an elevator with Heather and Leah. Then Jason Priestly was there and he was horrified when I told him how young I was when I loved 90210, and then I was walking down a snowy winter street at night with Wonderbaby on my hip. Then she pooped in her diaper and I woke up. You people? You are in my head.
And now, here’s a picture of our kitten totally Bogarting the heat register.
Also, he loves to sit on my feet while I’m working (apparently, in my pajamas).
Now let’s talk about food.
Monday: Cayenne-Rubbed Chicken with Avocado Salsa (Everyday Food). Will probably have this with rice and a garden salad.
Tuesday: Fish & Chips. Chips will be homemade. Fish will not.
Wednesday: Mexi-Wraps (Company’s Coming Slow-Cooker Recipes).
Thursday: Curried Chicken Salad Sandwiches (Food to Live By). Served on croissants.
Friday: Tomato and Sausage Risotto. Mmm, risotto.
