Look at me! I’m 31 today. Officially “in my thirties.” And for a change, I don’t hate the way I look in this photograph that Graham took last night.
My mom came over this morning, and greeted me at the door with a large French Vanilla cappucino from Tim Horton’s. Who doesn’t love that?
You know what? My thirties are so far, pretty kick-ass. Let’s review:
Handsome, loving, handy husband? Check.
Cozy, clean(ish), warm home? Check.
Enormous student debt under control at last? Check.
The ability to express myself through writing? Check.
Caring friends? Loving family? Check-check.
If I had known things could be this good, I’d have looked forward to getting older a lot more.
