I like to have fun and laugh as much as the next person, but it seems that the first impression I give upon meeting someone new is that I’m a serious person. I have one of those faces that bears a serious expression when I’m not out-and-out smiling. I think that’s why people around me get such a kick out of me laughing my butt off. Once in awhile something will strike me as exceptionally funny and I will laugh until I cry.
See?
Here I am around age eleven, laughing my fool head off. See how Mom and Matt are laughing at me?

If you meet me in person, and I seem sort of serious, rest assured I’m having a nice time. It just takes me awhile to let my guard down a bit.
I’m the same way. People think I’m snobby. I just look serious and sometimes I’m shy.

Bossy has seen you with your guard down. It’s a beautiful thing.
I’m having a good giggle at the sofa. We had the exact same one at my grandparents farm. That sofa was so ubiquitous during that era, eh?
It was great meeting you last night!
