About the band:
Once a solo project from lead singer Matt Holtby, The Champion Heartache was formed in 2006, with a revolving line up. Hailing from Oshawa, the band’s members not only have solo careers in full swing, but with the line up now set in stone, they are hard at work recording and producing their debut LP. Influences include Springsteen, Bright Eyes, Wilco, Elliott Smith, Starflyer 59 and so many more.
