This was supposed to be the post wherein I show you all pictures of my feet outfitted with new shoes. That’s right, my feet earned those cute green American Eagle heels and I wore them to one of the many Thanksgiving dinners we went to over the weekend. The shoes were a hit…moreso even than the homegrown white swan acorn squash that was my contribution to the meal.
This post was going to contain photos of my feet in those cute shoes because I bought not one but FOUR pairs of cute shoes. It was the Payless BOGO Event! And I buy shoes approximately once a year. So yeah, I stocked up. The problem is, I think I enjoyed purchasing the shoes a little too much because ever since then my mind has wandered back to the shelves of pretty, shiny, strappy shoes. Hi, I’m 31 and I’m just now beginning to understand what it is with us girls and our shoes. They’re fun. And cute. End of story.
This post was going to show you photos of my cute new shoes but I’m upstairs and my camera is downstairs and my four pairs of shoes are in approximately four different rooms around the house and I’m doing laundry and need to tidy the dinner mess in the kitchen while trying not to think about the pretty model home I looked at today. Then I should vacuum the fluffy balls of cat hair from the corners of the house and finish recovering the dining room chairs and fix that painting that fell off the wall and take care of this giant pile of editing my laptop is perched upon.
So the photos of cute shoes will just have to wait.
show me the shoes! shoe-tease!

the power of shoes, especially cute ones, should never be underestimated – SHOW US THE SHOES (you are a tease) (and I mean that in the nicest way possible)

Oh, who needs to clean? I wanted to see those snazzy shoes! I’m not big on shoes and maybe you’ll inspire me. I wear clogs–dark blue ugly plastic ones–into the winter til I’m forced to put on warmer shoes. Yea, I’m weird.

As a self-professed shoe sicko, I totally understand how you feel! I would love to see the ones you at the BOGO event. I’m a sucker for decent-priced shoes and went crazy when one fellow mommy recommended the shoes at Joe Fresh. I know, I know. I’m probably the only one who found it weird to shop for clothes and food at the same time.
Since not all Loblaws who sell Joe Fresh are different, my fav one is on Weston Road in T.O. I was tipped by a mommy fairy :http://www.sharesavvy.ca/cities/toronto/reviews/35
Happy Shoe Shopping,
