Yesterday when Graham got to work at the restaurant he was wearing a poppy. I thought to myself, “Why is Graham wearing a poppy? Remembrance Day was months ago.” Then I realized that, um, it’s in ten days.
The last year has FLOWN by, thankfully.
Autumn has been so lovely this year. The colours on the trees have been so beautiful and vibrant. I always enjoy fall but it seems different to me somehow this time around, and I’m not sure why. Last year I was in kind of a rough place, and I just think I didn’t have the time, desire or effort to lift my head up high enough to even see how pretty this part of the world is in autumn. This time around, I choose to believe that things are in a much more hopeful state and I’m looking up, looking ahead to the good things to come.
