30 weeks pregnant: GD-free!

It’s a good thing that my 2-hour glucose test for gestational diabetes went so well…in the words of my doctor, my numbers were “perfect, just perfect.” So yay!  I’ve escaped the diabeetus.

It’s a good thing that the test went well because today we went to the local fall fair and, well, THERE WAS FUDGE.

The baby enjoyed it, too.

Fair fudge is the best fudge there is. It was mint chocolate.

Just goes to show everyone's so different in pregnancy. And yep, it's Wilford Brimley we're thinking of when we say "diabeetus".

  5. Tom says:

That was really great news for you Amy. I wish for your continuous recovery and your body totally rejects that disease forever. You can now enjoy fudge as much as you like.

  6. Kyla says:

    Yay!!! And fudge…mmmm.

  7. Vic says:

Somehow I'm guessing you enjoyed that fudge way more than the baby!

  8. Amy says:

I know, right? I eat it like once a year. All of it.

Okay, you may be onto something here…busted!
