Gushing.
There is so much I could write about with respect to becoming the mom to this wonderful little guy, but it’s still a challenge to focus on doing anything else except just getting to know him, feed him, change him and make sure he’s safe and sleeps (not to mention getting enough sleep myself).
I have a lot of photos on our camera right now that I need to upload, also, but here’s a little shot of our frog legged baby boy. His hair is just as soft as it looks, and I love to rub the little soft spot right behind his ear while I nurse him. He’s really very sweet. He makes the most lovely little faces, tiny “ohs” with his mouth the size of a Cheerio, his little forehead creased in an expression that looks far too concerned for someone his age. I can gush about him, right? Because he’s just the best thing that has ever happened to us. So much love has come in through our front door, to stay.

He's adorable! Lucky lucky you! It really does go by quickly, but it only seems that way when you're suddenly looking back on it. Get as much sleep as you can, and enjoy every minute of his gorgeousness!
