Things at home are changing.
Nate and I are home. Alone. Without Graham.
Do you know how much easier it is to parent a wiggly almost four-month-old when there are two pairs of arms to handle things? WAY EASIER.
It’s also way easier when one of those pairs of arms is attached to a person who will get up at 7:00 with the baby while I get some more sleep.
But we are surviving, the two of us. Nathan’s asleep in his swing right now.
I have had a shower and a coffee, two things that make the whole day glimmer in a new light.
Oh, who am I kidding? We are more than surviving. One look at that little face and I am smitten.
I have a new post up at Aiming Low today. In it, I reveal my secret recipe for scalloped potatoes. Or not.
Also, I’d love it if you would become a fan of Assertagirl on Facebook!

Hey, look at that adorable boy. I just became a facebook fan. I am back to blogging but have to keep it private now. Loved your post on Aiming Low.
Has Graham been on leave thus far? Josh was only off until I was home from the hospital…so it was me and the babes from the get go!
Oh so adorable!!!! I know what you mean, I have an easier time with Matt around…simply because Nolan is at the "I'm not going to sit still for a diaper change" stage and having two pairs of arms TOTALLY helps there.
